Data and privacy in LayerPrism

This website
The site uses static pages processed by a hosting service and a content delivery network. These systems store IP addresses and access logs to manage traffic.
A visit counter from statinside.com records page visits to track usage. Pressing the download button records time, IP address, browser user agent and referral source to count downloads. The button then redirects to the installer.
The LayerPrism app
The application runs locally on your computer and sends no telemetry data to any server. Your chats, working folders and API keys stay on your PC.
Secrets found in tool output are redacted before they reach the model. Prompts go only to the model endpoint you pick. With a local model nothing leaves the machine.
Optional features that use the network
Web search can optionally run over an anonymizing network.
Update checks connect to the update server to see if a new version is ready.
Your choices
You decide which model provider handles your prompts by selecting the endpoint. You can switch off optional network features, such as controlling chats from a phone browser, if you prefer.
The installer is not code-signed yet so you should compare its SHA-256 checksum with the published manifest. Windows SmartScreen may warn you but you can run it after verifying the hash.
Contact
You can send feedback directly from the application interface using the in-app Send feedback button.
